Contributions in-kind: an efficient way to recognise value and enable reciprocity.
We are open to up to 50% of the annual fee being contributed as a contribution in-kind (CiK) if there is insufficient budget available. CiK may also be greater than the total membership fee and can be recognised as match-funding against our grant awards. For example: a C1 Member may contribute £2K in cash and also contribute material time to the value of £5K to the project—in this case, we can count £7K to our match-funding; a C2 Member may contribute £7.5K in cash and 10K in-kind, in which case we could recognise £17.5K; a C3 Member may choose to contribute £75K in-kind and the same in cash. We have designed the model to be flexible to the needs of Members while maximising the impact of all contributions. We also reserve the right to use our funds to contract Members, for example, when included in joint funding bids.
